What Is Epinephrine
What is Epinephrine?
It is a type of hormone that gives your body its vigilance in certain situations like emergencies. Also known as ‘adrenaline,’ it is produced from a pair of glands that lies on top of your pair of kidneys. This hormone is apparently the best way to cure or treat allergies, especially those that are peanuts induced. Its ability to make the victim stronger and more vigilant proves to be effective in fighting off the much-hated causal effects and persistence of peanut allergy. However, when the victim has peanut allergy, it needs more epinephrine amounts than what his body can produce so an insertion of this through the syringe is necessary to speed up the process.
Epinephrine may be effective but sadly, it has side effects and some threats too. Among the side effects of epinephrine are:
- anxieties
- agitation
- sweating
- lightheadedness
- palpitations
- nausea
- vomiting
- tremble
- weakness
- pallor
- acute hypertension for those who took more than enough of the required doses

Is peanut allergy fatal?
Yes. It is fatal when severe enough. It is reported that death has been rising over the past several years due to allergy on peanuts or peanut particles. In fact, it can be so severe that a 15-year old Canadian girl died subsequent to kissing her boyfriend that ate a peanut butter snack prior to the incident. Estimations of this disease can kill up to more than hundreds of Americans. In France, however, the situation seems worse.
