Are There Any Peanut Allergy Support Groups
Are there any peanut allergy support groups?
The rapid increase of peanut allergy incidents in the world, particularly in United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Australia provided a boost in the number of support groups that intend to help victims of peanut allergy. Depending upon your own address, see which one would be easier for you to join:
- Anaphylaxis Australia, Inc. (AAI)
- Anaphylaxis Campaign, and Asthma and Midlands Asthma and Allergy Research Association (MAARA) of United Kingdom
- American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI)
- French National Allergovigilance Network
- The Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network (FAAN)

What are the cures for peanut allergy?
There are no cures on peanut allergy that exist today. Astute avoidance of peanut, peanut products and foods with peanut ingredients is the most effective way of curing this allergy so that outgrowing this disease becomes more possible. Its life-long existence, however, is more likely to happen.
You can also do some simple things that can diminish the unwanted effects of peanut allergy such as the following: use anti-septic hand wash after meals; consult with a dietician or a nutritionist on which foods are harmful to peanut-allergic people and which are desirable, secure yet delicious; and get a list of foods that may contain peanut ingredients. It is also a big plus if you talk to others transparently about the condition and all information regarding it.
